As we get closer to the end of 2020, here are some thoughts...
The big story this year (besides the obvious one) has been and continues to be ENERGETIC CHANGES.
The much talked about shift supposedly began rolling in 2012, although many "First Wave Volunteers" such as myself felt the beginnings of awakening in 1999.
After nothing significant appeared to happen on the 2012 solstice, some of the ascension talk died down. However, sensitive people, especially the "volunteers" (as Dolores Cannon dubbed them) knew something was still changing from 2013 onward.
Whatever one's level of awareness, 2020 came in with a loud bang that got our attention. Energetically, the months from August onward into fall were particularly challenging. If any of the prophetic lore concerning global ascension into a higher dimension is true, it would follow that a great deal of chaotic disruption would be necessary, and that we have experienced. Many of us have felt it in our physical bodies, and continue to, although for myself the pace has slackened in December to a more manageable level.
Something relatively major is expected culminate on or around the December 21 solstice. I don't know what it will be, and the purpose of this article is not to speculate on that. Dolores Cannon foresaw a "New Earth" emerging at some point, and how that will come about is still a mystery to me.
What I am writing about here is the feeling that a path has emerged for myself that appears to take us toward a form of "New Earth". My term for this is "One Foot in Atlantis". It involves a gradual evolution of spiritual awareness, along with increasing ability to draw upon the resources of Spirit to solve problems on Earth. In this space, I simply wanted to mention some of the disparate authors and teachers that have contributed to pointing me down this path.
Dolores Cannon, Brian Weiss, and Michael Newton opened my eyes to spiritual reality. Carolyn Myss taught me about soul contracts and the energetic causes of disease. Kryon (as channeled by Lee Carroll) confirmed the key points that Carolyn Myss made concerning how our physical reality is determined by our etheric field, and how the epigenetics pioneered by Bruce Lipton and others is a real thing.
I should include mention of the Seth books, channeled by Jane Roberts, which contain endless discourse on the Nature of Reality and how physical reality is projected by our unconscious or subconscious minds.
Hypnotherapists such as Cannon, Weiss and Newton each had many clients that experienced sudden and profound healing from physical ailments by accessing the subconscious under hypnosis, although a comprehensive model of how this works seemed to elude them. Hypnosis seems to allow us to bump into things without really knowing how it's supposed to consistently work.
Carolyn Myss had a consistent model that appeared to work, but she gave up as a practicing medical intuitive out of frustration with many clients that refused to make the emotional and energetic changes required to heal their illnesses.
Recently, another form of teaching has crossed my path, that appears to correlate with all of the aforementioned approaches. This teaching is a type of Shamanic practice, drawn from indigenous peoples in South America. The core Shamanic belief and practice is really universal among most indigenous people around the world, but has died out and been mostly lost in many cultures due to assimilation with modern culture.
The common core principal, which I find in the many disparate teachings that I mentioned, is that physical reality is but a projection from a deeper, sponsoring level of reality. The term for this underlying, originating reality is Spirit or Consciousness. Humans are Spirit incarnated in physical bodies. Our ego-based minds are generally unaware of the higher levels of reality. We think everything happens based on things we interact with our 5 senses. The truth is, we are effect rather than cause. Ascending into 5D reality means dealing more with the cause than the effect.
Shamanic tradition teaches that our etheric field is the base structure from which everything physical is projected. Initiates learn to leave our ego-based perceptions behind and journey into the world of Spirit, where lasting changes can be made that affects our physical lives.
I don't know whether Dolores Cannon's description of the New Earth is going to come to fruition, but I am convinced that I can see a path that leads me in that general direction. This is really the point that I am trying to make here. I feel very good about following this path. The energetic changes going on around me and to me seem to make more sense now. Hopefully the reader will find this helpful as well.
